San Francisco (08/12/18) – Aplat, the designer of chic culinary totes, launches a new line of zero waste designed pantry pouches and bowl and casserole covers at NYNOW.
San Francisco-based Aplat today announced an expansion to their Bread and Pantry Collection with a full line of pantry pouches for storing bread, fresh produce and other pantry items and an expansion to their Culinary and Kitchen Collection with a line of unique rectangle and round covers for culinary dishes. These new products are a natural addition to Aplat’s existing zero waste designed products for carrying and sharing food, wine, and garden.
The Poches: The alternative to plastic bags, the washable and reusable pantry pouches are the best solution for storing all kinds of food, from bread and grains to herbs and fresh produce. Made from extra durable and breathable organic cotton to keep food fresh longer, the pouches are perfect for both the refrigerator and freezer. They come in four sizes from large to extra small bag size. The Aplat Pochette line has won the 2018 NYNOW Sustainability Award and will be featured in the main entrance hall to the Javits Center during NYNOW.
The Couvres: The Aplat covers are made from 100% organic cotton canvas produced from environmentally friendly sustainable fibers. The round covers come in three sizes, while the rectangle covers are available in two sizes. In keeping with Aplat’s design principles of sustainability and zero waste in manufacturing, the Aplat Couvre line’s easy drawstring design solution eliminates the need for toxic elastic bands and provides a more secure fit.
